A proposed deal for a welterweight showdown between Manny Pacquiao and Miguel Cotto, for November 14 in Las Vegas, is inching closer to a deal. The bout, scheduled for a catch-weight of 145-pounds, is being negotiated by Bob Arum of Top Rank, who promote both fighters.

Most of the details have been hammered out with Cotto and his team, and now it's Pacquiao's turn to review the listed terms for the fight. Pacquiao’s adviser Mike Koncz, went over the details with Arum and plans to review the terms with Pacquiao this weekend.

Pacquiao’s lawyer, Franklin Gacal, said the deal should not be any less than a 65-35 split in Pacquiao's favor. He says the final decision will come down to Pacquiao.
